Even words could not have said, all that those whoopee faces and eyes sparkling with merriment said. Shrugging off the hot and furious summer sun, the school hopped over and found a stupendous way to relish this ingredient of the weather too.
La Martiniere Girls’ Alumni Association organized the Annual Rain Dance on 4th May, 2018 in the College Lawns. The event was organized so that the girls get some respite from the scorching heat and let their hair down to the foot tapping groovy numbers of DJ Moni.
In addition the groovy music added that happening touch to the event.
To some extent, it felt as if the sprinklers were showering giggles and jiggles in lieu of water. The children in a jovial mood, seemed to have a deep and abiding friendship with water………that’s what their deeds of splishing, splashing and splashing in water said.
The children enjoyed the rain dance party with their friends and teachers.
The students simply enjoyed the cool drizzle of the sprinklers and the air was abuzz with screams of excitement. LMGAA strives to come with events which would enable children to garner memories of school. The Rain Dance was a huge hit among the children as they kept demanding for ‘one’ last song even past the closing time.
Everyone danced and enjoyed the music in water.
It was a great opportunity for the children to beat the heat by getting drenched
