राष्‍ट्रीय लोक दल (रालोद) का गढ़ मानी जाने वाली Baghpat Lok Sabha सीट पर 2019 में पार्टी अपना वजूद भी नहीं बचा पाई है। यहां से भाजपा सांसद डॉ. सत्‍यपाल सिंह ने रालोद उपाध्‍यक्ष जयंत चौधरी का मात दी है।

2014 के लोकसभा चुनाव में डॉ. सत्‍यपाल सिंह जयंत चौधरी के पिता को भी मात दे चुके हैं।
