Kriti Sanon who last appeared in “Bareilly Ki Barfi” is currently busy in shooting for her upcoming movie “Arjun Patiala” opposite Diljit Dosanjh. She has also signed Ashutosh Gowarikar’s “Panipat: The Great Betrayal” opposite Arjun Kapoor. ‘She might play lead role in ‘Shotgun Shaadi’.

There were rumours that Shraddha Kapoor will be paired opposite Sidharth Malhotra for Ekta kapoor’s much awaited film ‘Shotgun Shaadi’ but now the reports are saying that finally Kriti Sanon will pair up with handsome hunk Sidharth Malhotra.
It is confirmed that this gorgeous Heropanti girl liked the script of Shotgun Shaadi.
Story revolves around the phenomenon system in Bihar, popularly known as ‘Pakadua Vivaah’ or Groom kidnapping, where bachelors are kidnapped by the bride’s family and later they force them to marry their bride to avoid dowry.
The practice started becoming noticeable towards the late 20th century, as dowry costs became prohibitive and organized gangs came forward to carry out the abductions.
ALT Balaji’s ‘Shotgun Shaadi’ is a big project for debutant director Prashant Singh and will be produced by Shailesh R.Singh.
Sidharth will be playing the character of Bihari boy. He will be learning Bihari language and is all set to impress his fans and critics with his performace.
Sidharth Malhotra won many hearts with his act in his last film Aiyaary in which he played Maj.Jai Bakshi.
It is a treat to all the Sidharth Malhotra and Kriti Sanon lovers who always wanted to see onscreen chemistry of these both the stars.
