Bharat Actors Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif to Host IPL 2019 Finals.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are busy gearing up for their Eid special release, Bharat.

The film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar has already topped the headline for numerous reasons.

Now once again the film’s lead pair have been talk of the town and this time it is linked to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 final.

Salman and Katrina would be hosting an important segment of the finale and both cricket and movie lovers cannot wait to watch them as TV hosts.

As per a report in Bollywood news portal, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif would be hosting the pre-match and post-match of IPL 2019.

This is the first time ever that the duo would be hosting this segment.

Talking about it a source disclosed to the portal, “IPL is one of the biggest and most expensive cricket shows and the final gets maximum eyeballs.

The producers of Bharat, Atul Agnihotri and Nikhil Namit have come up with a brilliant IPL-integration marketing scheme where instead of taking the stars in the field in the open with the spectators, they will be seen live at a studio, as going on the field would have become a security issue.

Instead of the usual events and promotions they are trying a different strategy. Salman and Katrina will host a segment together in the IPL and Salman has already shot for the main ad which will be shown on Star Sports network over the weekend.

One more ad featuring kids and Bharat will also be aired. Apparently, the ads were shot keeping Bharat as the theme and have a powerful message.

Right now, the channel and everyone associated with it has been instructed to be tight-lipped about it till the promo is aired.”

This is indeed a great promotional strategy for Bharat that is scheduled to hit the big screens on June 5.

The film also stars Disha Patani, Tabu, Sonali Kulkarni and Jackie Shroff in key roles.
