Akshay Kumar – Don’t Just Post On Twitter, Do Something

Akshay Kumar recently donated 2 crore to Assam Flood Relief Fund and Kaziranga National Park in the wake of natural calamity, says he wanted to do more than just posting a sad post on social media.
Assam has been hit by devastating rains and floods, affecting close to 4 Million people and wild life. After this disastrous incident, many helping hands came together to help the flood victims, Akshay Kumar, has donated 2 crore to Assam Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and the Kaziranga National Park.
Talking about his generous act and reason behind it, Akshay Kumar said, “I saw a picture of a mother carrying her child through the water. I think I am consider myself really lucky that something like this hasn’t happened to me but when I saw that photographer, I thought this could happen to me, to my wife and daughter”
“I didn’t just wanted to react and put a sad twitter post, I will even urge you all not to do it, and do something about it, contribute, be it a small amount or big. Stop tweeting about it saying it is really sad and god bless everyone, do something about it” added Akshay.
Akshay Kumar is known to release his film on 15th August, making it an unofficial exclusive release date booked for the actor but “Mission Mangal” actor believes it is not true.
When asked about releasing his film specifically on 15th August, Akshay Kumar said, “See there is nothing like that, no exclusivity on 15th August release, I don’t think I should even be thinking on those lines or for that matter, any other actor should think like that, every date belongs to everyone. Anybody can release their film anytime. It would be wrong of me to think that this particular date is my date”
On the professional front, Akshay Kumar gears up for his upcoming Movie Mission Mangal, the movie before releasing creating a lot of buzz on social media, apart from Mission Mangal the actor will be featured in Houseful 4, Good News, Suryavanshi, Laxmi Bomb, Prithviraj Chauhan Biopic.
